About Trevor Luv

Trevor Luv - Guitar, Vocals

Trevor Horsfall and the Fogman met in the early seventies in the musical arena of rockin' Toronto. Back then Trev was slugging it out in a band called WHALEBONE. answering an ad for bass player, the fogman, or john burkitt as he was known then, got the job, and the song writing team of Burkitt / Horsfall was born. years later working the bars, festivals and fun circuit of Louisiana, N. E. Texas, and other parts of Dixie, it wasn't long before the amazing denizens of the south had blessed ZED HEAD's mr. horsfall with the moniker that has stuck, and Lordie!!! voila... 'TREVOR LUV' had himself a real show business name!! (go ahead, ask him all about it!!). Trevor Luv had soon charmed all but 6 or 7 of the Southern Belles in Dixie with answers to such penetrating questions as... 'oooh, y'all are from England!!?? do y'all know tony blair!!?? - ah, just LOVE the way y'all talk over there...')

Trevor Luv was soon cavorting with a good deal of the musical types around the Shreveport, N. E. Texas area, including the illustrious Unkle Dallas, the amazing singer, songwriter and heir apparent to the throne of 'Texas guitar slinger extrordinair' Mr. Wes Jeans, and one of Elvis' favourite pickers, James Burton, and many, many others. together with the fogman, many a jam session has transpired in the southland with some of these incredible southern players. the experience of both these guys has been enriched no end by the collaboration and compaany of these great, rockin, Dixie players.

Trevor Luv runs a hot rod marshall 100 with a custom cabinet hung with genuine vintage, celestion green backs. he drives this rig with an old Gibson 'V', a '59 sunburst les paul, and a couple of strats. for the list of ancillary components - strings, pedals, assorted tricks and treats, be sure to ask the approachable, affable and personable TREVOR LUV. the guy is never too busy to talk guitar with his supporters, other pickers and southern belles that are looking for that special introduction to the British aristocracy. you need to see Trevor Luv when entertaining the good folk of the southland... it is a thing to behold! fogger swears 'the further south ZED HEAD gets, the broader that north English accent gets'. good old Trevor Luv, he's just another closet rebel, (with an English accent...) you go Trevor Luv, and by all means... say hello to tony blair for all of us. oh, and watch out for that flyin' lactose!!! (ah yes, that was some fun... you'll just have to ask Trevor Luv about that particular 'welcome back to Texas!!')
